I wake up in a well of sounds: birds, car engines and radio. I am wearing a tent dress. It makes me feel exposed to everything around me and I like it. To go with my outfit are: no makeup, no shoes, no plan. I celebrate the richness of nothing.
More and more tents are arriving. Along come my friends.
It’s supposed to be a day of sound and so it is. Open’er festival begins. I don’t know why, however, the music doesn’t feel right. Are my expectations too high? Are the performances bad? No and no. There is too much chaos around to really appreciate the music. 5 stages, museum, cinema, theatre have successfully killed the authenticity. Too cool to be real…?
